Gaia farmstay is for people that are really interested in exploring Gaia Ashram but have not the time of two weeks to join us as volunteers.
We want to bring to your attention that are facilities are basic and we are not like a guesthouse in the conventional sense. Showers & our compost toilets are seperate from the rooms. We are not like a conventional guesthouse and we also ask guest to participate in helping cleaning their plates, cutlery and be understanding of our basic facilities. Also at times we might be busy with courses and then might not have time to support guests as much .

Gaia Ashram Eco-Farm stay is much more than a farm stay. We are an organic Permaculture Farm, an Ecovillage, a nature regeneration project, a community of all beings! We are a place to (re)connect with Mother Earth.
Staying on our farm stay gives you a lot of opportunities to experience the Ecovillage Lifestyle at your own pace. Start your morning with yoga, stroll around our food forest, relax in our GAIA CAFE, and join the community for meditation and healthy vegetarian/vegan meals.
If you want to learn more about our way of living in harmony with the land you are more than welcome to join us in our daily hands-on activities such as gardening, farming, natural building, or the making of our natural products GAIA ESSENCE.

Our natural building guesthouse
Our earthen build Guesthouse is located right on the edge of a beautiful magical bamboo forest this is why we call it the Fairy House. Currently we have 3 spacious double rooms with a private balcony on the upper floor available for farm stay guests. One of the double rooms has a bunkbed for kids and makes it good to stay for a family. We will can also add an extra bed in other rooms for extra charge. Gaia Ashram Ecofarmstay has two single rooms at the bottom floor available. For travelers on budget or backpacker you can enjoy staying in our our dorm hostel sat the Gaia Ashram Sala.
All rooms share a shower and toilet block right in front of the Fairy House and near to the Gaia Ashram Sala.
Stay in a Unique location with captivating Earthen Buildings. Our main Building is the Gaia Ashram Sala. Gaia Ashram is a learning center on Sustainable Living and the sala apart form being a beautiful building is a learning example of a Natural Building that was partially build with lot of heart by our volunteers, interns and course participants.
Recently we also finished our Family House which can fit 5 people and is located in our little bamboo groove. Please inform us before to check availability as they tend to fill fast.

Our Farm stay rates
The rates include yoga (please be aware that our yoga teacher might not always be there) and any evening session that might be happening at the time. The room rate does not include meals.
The meal package is on top of the accommodation fee and needs to be included in the booking fee. The price includes three vegetarian meals.
If you want to be more immersed in the community you are welcome to join the hands-on activities of our ECOVILLAGE LIFESTYLE EXPERIENCE WEEK. Also for longer stays we recommend joining this week first.

Our farm and learning center Gaia Ashram
Our 6 hectares of land and our project Gaia Ashram are developed using Deep Ecology, Permaculture, and Ecovillage Design principles. We have the dream and the strong belief that human beings will live in harmony with nature, that we see that all beings are part of one big family, sharing the same home and that all beings have their roles to play in maintaining and sustaining the web of life.
We aim to be a place where we can live holistically, practice and realize the interconnectedness and the oneness of all living and non-living beings.
